Department of physiology and pathophysiology of Peking University Health Science Center was founded in the early 1918s. After half century development, remarkable progress has been made in the scientific fields of cardiovascular, neurological, metabolic, digestive, endocrine system that greatly contributed to the development of Chinese physiological science. Now we’re extending more researching areas and keeping discipline advantages. Currently we have been focused on physiology and pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, kidney disease.2019 QS ranking of Anatomy & Physiology was 21，the only department of physiology on QS top 50 in China.
